I am a master's student advised by Stephanie Van Willigenburg at The University of British Columbia. I was previously a research assistant and honours student of Phillip Isaac at The University of Queensland, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) in 2022 (and wrote a thesis). During my Bachelors degree, I completed a Summer Research Project in 2020-21 under the guidance of Travis Scrimshaw.
My research lies in the intersection of algebraic combinatorics, representation theory and mathematical physics. One such research area of interest is Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals and their applications to integrable systems. I have also been studying Lie colour algebras (a generalisation of Lie superalgebras to grading by an arbitrary abelian group), their representation theory and their applications to quantum-mechanical models/equations.
I have worked as a Casual Academic for the School of Mathematics and Physics at UQ in 2022, 2024 and 2025. A class has up to 30 students and running such a class includes: revision, practice problems, collaborative exercises, answering student questions and marking assignments. I have taught classes in first year calculus, linear algebra, ODEs and statistics and third-year classes in mathematical physics and set theory/logic. Click here for a full list of classes.
