I am a mathematics tutor and research assistant to Phillip Isaac at The University of Queensland. I received a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) from The University of Queensland in 2022, during which I wrote a thesis under the supervision of Phillip Isaac. During my Bachelors degree, I completed a Summer Research Project in 2020-21 under the guidance of Travis Scrimshaw
My research lies in the intersection of representation theory, algebraic combinatorics and mathematical physics. One such research area of interest is Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals and their applications to integrable systems. I have recently been studying Lie colour algebras (a generalisation of Lie superalgebras to grading by an arbitrary abelian group), their representation theory and their applications to quantum-mechanical models/equations.
I have worked as a tutor for the School of Mathematics and Physics at UQ in 2022 and 2024. A tutorial has up to 30 students and running such a class includes: revision, practice problems, collaborative exercises, answering student questions and marking assignments. I have taught tutorial classes in first year calculus, linear algebra, ODEs and statistics and a third-year class in set theory and logic. Click here for a full list of classes.
